Opportunity for you to raise the profile of service experience
Funding available to support corporate and clinical teams working together for high quality patient care
A new opportunity from the Health Foundation has been launched, £3.4 million programme to develop new ideas showing how corporate support services and clinical teams can work together to improve the quality of care.
Most improvement work to date has focused on clinical services. But clinical teams do not work in isolation. Corporate support services such as information, IT, procurement, human resources, finance and estates teams can also make a big difference to improving the quality of patient care.
Health Foundation want to work with eight organisations with compelling ideas that involve a significant improvement in some aspect of corporate services, help the organisation address a critical challenge and will lead to demonstrable benefits to patients.
It is open to all providers of NHS-funded care. They anticipate that successful applications will come from a range of organisations working in primary, secondary or tertiary care, including mental health – either in a hospital or community setting and welcome partnership proposals.
Each organisation will receive funding of £420,000 each over three and a half years and a tailored learning package.
The deadline for first stage proposals is 4 January 2012
